WHAT IS RAPADEMICS®?

RAPADEMICS® (RAP + ACADEMICS) is an innovative system that teaches educational fundamentals and reinforces key essentials for success. There is no denying the popularity of Rap Music, particularly among youth. In the past 20 years Rap music and Hip Hop culture has influenced millions of youth world wide and is the catalyst for a multi-billion dollar industry. RAP (Rhythmic Artistic Poetry) is an art form based on spoken word and lyrically offers a unique opportunity to educate and entertain.

RAPADEMICS® products include a series of audio CDs that use songs with catchy melodies and beats to teach educational fundamentals. In addition to teaching core components such as phonics, reading, grammar, vocabulary, and math, this Series also incorporate values and principles for success.


GOALS AND OBJECTIVES 

The RAPADEMICS® Supplemental Education System consists of several components that combine to meet the following goals and objectives.

  • Teach core components of early childhood curriculum.
  • Emphasize values and principles such as self-worth, high expectations, personal responsibility, avoiding negative peer pressure, and a healthy drug-free lifestyle.
  • Excite students and hold their attention while infusing positive values and teaching educational principles.
  • Teach valuable lessons using a variety of learning styles including auditory, visual, personal and interactive stimulation.
  • Increase children's interest in education by making learning fun and interactive.
  • Provide supplemental educational tools that allow children to learn independently and at their own pace.
  • Provide enlightening stories and activities that students can relate to their own experiences.
  • Engage parents, teaches, administrators and the community in promoting economic and educational initiatives.
  • Provide an alternative to the negative messages in much of today's Hip Hop music and popular culture.
  • Teach entrepreneurial skills through cultural arts and technology.  


PROGRAM COMPONENTS

The RAPADEMICS® Concert Rally is a musical celebration designed to motivate students and promote academic excellence. It includes live performances of RAPADEMICS songs by young artists, interactive on-stage learning activities, promotional materials, product giveaways, and guest appearances by local and nationally known entertainers.

RAPADEMICS® VIP Study Club includes Study Partners, Listening/Tutoring Labs, educational games and activities, scholarships, club membership, and discounts on products & merchandise.

RAPADEMICS® Cultural Arts & Technology teaches students the importance of technology and introduces them to a myriad of careers in multi-media technology through cultural arts. The students will utilize what they have learned to create, produce, market, and sale their own creations.

RAPADEMICS® Fundraising Campaign helps organizations and groups raise money while providing innovative educational tools and learning experiences to children in there communities.
